My Story
A Filipino traditional belief is that when a baby is born in breech position, they will have special healing abilities. Being one of these babies, this is where I believe my journey started.
As a kid, I remember hearing voices and having a ‘sense’ beyond what we can see with the naked eye. I was always energetically sensitive to my surroundings, people, animals, and had vivid dreams that sometimes came true. Being in a religious household led to me suppressing these powers but I never resonated with the teachings and eventually diverted away. Still these gifts never went away - I just spent my childhood channeling it through my creativity and play.
There was a death in the family during my teenage years that broke my spirit and led me down a road of unhealthy coping mechanisms. While I was moving through a lot of internal challenges, I remained inspired by topics that centered around psychology, philosophy, spirituality and various things about our existence here beyond the ‘we’re just here to work and die” narrative.” Those were a few of the only things that brought me back to that spark and wonder I had as a child because it was related to the things we cannot see but can feel.
As I embarked more in uncovering my inner exploration, I found myself interested in crystals due to their metaphysical healing abilities.. Crystals allowed me to communicate with the family member who passed, bridging the path to Ancestral work. My jewelry business Original Goddess opened in 2019 and through being active in my community, I turned towards my spiritual gifts even deeper after meeting elders who taught me practices of Reiki and Hilot starting in 2020. My practice reached a peak after I visited the Philippines in 2024 to study Hilot and served hundreds of people in various communities back home in the Bay Area and Central Valley, California.
By 2026, I had executed and done so much that I felt like I had reached a plateau. I became more powerful and more noticed - even being invited to perform ceremonies and experiences for private events, but there was something I felt was missing. Mentorship dawned on me when I noticed that I was being asked about my experiences and advice from the next generation. I knew it was my time to step into this chapter of my life since I myself wish I had this form of guidance when I was starting out my adventures. My heart is passionate about being here for others because every time I lean into a calling from within, I somehow create positive impact and create freedom for myself as well as everyone else around me by doing so.
I am grateful and inspired by how organically all has fallen into place and the way beautiful people remind me why its important to preserve this way of life and why we need to move away from extraction.
My intention is to be the proof someone needs that following their dreams is possible and can build a better world.
